By visiting our Website, creating an account, or placing an order, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Areej Al Ward Perfumes governed by these Terms & Conditions and UAE law. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this Website or make a purchase.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Areej Al Ward Perfumes in relation to your use of the Website and purchase of Products, and supersede all prior communications or representations, except where expressly stated otherwise.

Your statutory rights are fully protected. These Terms do not and cannot limit any rights you are entitled to under UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020), the UAE E-Commerce Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023), or any other applicable UAE legislation. Any term that attempts to waive or restrict your statutory rights is automatically void.

To place an order on our Website, you must:

·       Be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian;

·       Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under UAE law;

·       Provide accurate, current, and complete billing and delivery information; and

·       Not be subject to any legal prohibition that would prevent you from purchasing our Products.

By placing an order, you confirm that you meet all of the above criteria. Areej Al Ward Perfumes reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders where eligibility requirements are not met, or where there is a reasonable suspicion of fraudulent activity.

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, ingredient information, and specifications displayed on our Website are accurate, clear, and not misleading. All Products sold on www.areejalward.com comply with UAE regulatory standards for cosmetics and perfumes, including GSO standards applicable in the GCC.

Please note the following:

·       Colours and appearances: Actual product colours and packaging may vary slightly from images shown on screen due to photography lighting, display settings, or minor packaging updates by manufacturers. Where the variation is material, we will update images promptly.

·       Product availability: All orders are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you promptly and offer you a full refund, an alternative product, or a backorder option.

·       Product information in Arabic: In compliance with UAE law, key product information including ingredients, country of origin, and usage instructions is provided in Arabic on product labels and, where possible, on the product page.

·       Fragrance descriptions: Scent descriptions (e.g. "woody," "floral," "fresh") are subjective and provided as a guide only. Fragrance perception varies between individuals.

 

If you have known fragrance allergies, skin sensitivities, or respiratory conditions, please review ingredient lists carefully before purchasing. Contact us at info@areejalward.com for a full ingredient list of any product.

All prices on www.areejalward.com are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of applicable UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate (5%), unless expressly stated otherwise. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown separately at checkout.

 

·       Price accuracy: We take every care to ensure prices are accurate. In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before fulfilling your order and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

·       Price changes: Prices may change over time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you confirm your purchase.

·       Promotional discounts: Discount codes and promotional offers are subject to their own terms and may not be combined unless expressly stated.

·       Price adjustment right: If we reduce the price of a product you purchased within 7 days before the price reduction was announced without prior disclosure to you, you are entitled to a refund of the price difference under UAE Consumer Protection law.

·       No hidden charges: In accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023, we will not impose any charges on consumers for delivery, logistics, or digital payment processing beyond what is agreed and displayed at checkout.

When you place an order on our Website, the following steps form the contractual process:

1.    Browsing & selection: You browse products and add items to your cart. This does not constitute a binding contract.

2.    Checkout: You provide your delivery details, select a payment method, and review your order summary including total price, VAT, and any applicable delivery charges.

3.    Order submission: By clicking "Place Order" (or equivalent), you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected items.

4.    Order confirmation: We will send you an automated order confirmation email to the address you provided. This email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute our acceptance.

5.    Order acceptance: Our acceptance of your order — and the formation of the contract — occurs when we send you a dispatch/shipping confirmation email.

6.    Cancellation window: You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch by contacting us at info@areejalward.com. Once an order has been dispatched, our Returns Policy applies.

 

Areej Al Ward Perfumes reserves the right to decline or cancel any order for legitimate reasons including unavailability of stock, payment failure, suspected fraud, or technical errors. You will be notified promptly and any payment taken will be refunded in full.

We accept the following payment methods:

·       Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and others as displayed at checkout)

·       Cash on Delivery (COD) — available for orders within the UAE, subject to a maximum order value as displayed at checkout

·       Digital wallets and other payment methods as may be added from time to time

 

All card payments are processed through our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Areej Al Ward Perfumes does not store your full card details on our servers. By providing payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method and that the information provided is accurate.

If your payment is declined or an issue arises, we will contact you. We reserve the right to cancel an order if payment cannot be confirmed within a reasonable time. Full payment is required before dispatch, except for COD orders.

We deliver to addresses within the UAE and to selected international destinations. Delivery terms are as follows:

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by public holidays, customs clearance (for international orders), or circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any significant delay.

·       Risk of loss: Risk in the Products passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided.

·       Failed delivery: If a delivery attempt fails and the Product is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. We may charge a re-delivery fee for the second attempt.

·       No hidden delivery charges: No additional delivery or logistics charges will be applied beyond those agreed and shown at checkout, in accordance with UAE E-Commerce Law.

·       Customs & duties: For international deliveries, you may be responsible for customs duties or import taxes applicable in your country. These are outside our control and are not included in our prices.

Your right to return products and receive a refund is governed by our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions and is available at www.areejalward.com/refund-policy.

A summary of your key rights:

·       You may return a defective, damaged, or misdescribed product within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or free replacement.

·       You may return an unopened, sealed product within 7 days of delivery (change of mind) for an exchange or store credit.

·       Opened or used perfume products cannot be returned unless they are defective — for hygiene reasons, as permitted under UAE law.

·       Areej Al ward Perfumes will cover return shipping costs only where the product is defective or incorrectly sent.

Under UAE Consumer Protection Law, "No Refund" or "No Exchange" policies are illegal. We will never attempt to deny you your legal right to a refund or exchange for defective or misdescribed goods.

All Products sold by Areej Al Ward Perfumes are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and to conform to their description at the time of delivery. Our warranty obligations include:

·       Products are genuine, correctly labelled, and authorised for sale in the UAE.

·       Products meet applicable UAE and GCC safety and quality standards for cosmetics and personal care products.

·       Where a product is found to be defective within the return window, we will replace it or refund you at no cost.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental breakage, improper storage, or normal wear and tear (such as the natural degradation of fragrance over time when exposed to light or heat).

Warranty documentation, where provided by a manufacturer, will be included with the Product or available on request.

All content on www.areejalward.com — including but not limited to the Areej Al Ward Perfumes name and logo, website design, layout, graphics, photographs, product descriptions, written content, and underlying code — is the intellectual property of Areej Al Ward Perfumes or its licensors and is protected under UAE Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights and other applicable UAE intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:

·       Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Website without our prior written consent;

·       Use our brand name, logo, or trademarks in any way that could cause confusion or imply endorsement;

·       Scrape, crawl, or extract data from our Website using automated tools;

·       Frame or mirror any part of our Website on another website without express written authorisation.

Third-party brand names, trademarks, and product names mentioned on our Website remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on our Website does not imply any affiliation or endorsement unless expressly stated.

By using our Website, you agree that you will not:

·       Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any UAE federal or emirate-level law;

·       Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information when placing an order or creating an account;

·       Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, our servers, or any system connected to the Website;

·       Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code to the Website;

·       Use the Website to transmit unsolicited commercial communications (spam);

·       Engage in any conduct that disrupts or impairs the functionality of the Website for other users;

·       Post, upload, or share any content that is defamatory, offensive, or violates the rights of others.

Any violation of these rules may result in the suspension or termination of your account and, where required by law, may be reported to the relevant UAE authorities.

·       We may suspend or close your account if we detect misuse, fraudulent activity, or repeated violations of these Terms — we will notify you before doing so unless legally prohibited, and you will have the right to challenge the decision.

·       You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon closure, we will handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Areej Al Ward Perfumes is committed to providing high-quality products and a reliable service. Our liability to you is governed as follows:

What we are always responsible for

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UAE law. In particular, we are always liable for:

·       Death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees or agents;

·       Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

·       Defective products under UAE Consumer Protection Law;

·       Any other liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.

Website availability: We aim to keep the Website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any losses arising from temporary downtime, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

User-generated content: We are not responsible for any content posted or submitted by users to the Website (e.g. reviews). We will remove content that violates UAE law or our policies upon becoming aware of it.

Indirect losses: To the extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising from your use of the Website, unless caused by our breach of these Terms or applicable law.

Under UAE Consumer Protection Law, any contractual term that cancels or limits your right to claim compensation where Areej Al Ward Perfumes has breached its obligations is null and void. Our liability disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in UAE law, our products or services, or our business practices.

When we make material changes, we will:

·       Post the updated Terms on our Website with a revised effective date;

·       Notify registered customers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect where practicable; and

·       Display a notice on our homepage or checkout page drawing attention to the changes.

For orders placed before any changes take effect, the Terms in force at the time of your order will apply to that transaction.

Under UAE Consumer Protection Law, we cannot unilaterally amend these Terms in a way that harms your consumer rights. Any amendment that reduces or removes a right you have under UAE law is automatically void regardless of whether it appears in our Terms.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The UAE federal courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or any transaction on our Website, subject to the following:

Complaints procedure: If you have a complaint, we encourage you to contact us first at info@areejalward.com so we can try to resolve it promptly and fairly.

Regulatory escalation: If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you have the right to escalate it to the relevant UAE consumer protection authority:

Arbitration: Disputes may also be submitted to arbitration by mutual agreement of the parties. Please note that under Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023, an arbitration clause agreed electronically is not binding where the transaction value is below AED 50,000 — in such cases, you retain the right to access UAE courts.

Language: These Terms are written in English. In the event of any conflict between an English version and an Arabic version of these Terms, the Arabic version shall prevail in accordance with UAE law.
